Milestone Workout #2

Many of you were able to make it in Monday for the first Milestone Workout. Hopefully you logged your score or wrote it down somewhere. If you missed it, Open Gym will be waiting for you on Saturday. And if you just can't make it happen, don't worry. There are more benchmarks coming so just make the ones that you can.

Today's workout features "heavyish" power cleans. As always, we are going to help you scale to a weight that will be appropriate for you and the intent of the workout. The goal of this one is to move consistently for at least the first 12 minutes, then to try to hang on for the last four. Some of you will be tempted to reach for the RX weights on this, but we may encourage you to stay a little lighter if you can't string a few reps together without breaking them up. Remember, we will be repeating this workout in a couple of months, so you want a good benchmark for comparison.

I am thrilled with the signups so far for the Catacombs Games. If you haven't added your name to the list yet, go ahead. It's going to be fun and you won't regret it. Some of you are concerned because you know you will miss at least one of the workouts. Don't let that stop you. The teams are going to be big enough where you won't be dragging them down. Also, if you are interested in being a team captain, let me know.
