I hope you are all getting outside to enjoy the sunshine and warmth of spring. Let go of your disappointment around the failure of El Nino to live up to the hype and let's move on. Hiking, biking, climbing, river, and all around outdoors season is upon us. Lucky for you guys, you've built the fitness to take all these on with confidence. Just don't forget to balance it all out with a healthy dose of CrossFit!
We wrap up the Catacombs Games this Friday. Last night's workout efforts were spectacular. It was incredible to see all of you taking this on with so much intensity. Please take care of yourselves with lots of mobility, hydration, and getting outside this weekend. (If you are still hurting on Monday, the Good Mornings will be a nice rehab movement to get your hamstrings back in the game.) Let's make this Friday the best one yet. As announced last night, DOUBLE POINTS will be awarded for BEST FOOD, MOST CREATIVE COSTUMES, and SPIRIT OF THE GAMES for the FNL finale. We will not be awarding points for teams getting 5 or more athletes to attend a regular group class. You still get points for the workout, but you must complete it during FNL for the extra points.
I would also like to give Nick Gould a huge shout out and thank you for his DJ services last Friday night. He will be teaching Monday Night Restorative Yoga at Catacombs on a regular basis starting in April, but this monday's class is a free intro. Come check it out!
Finally, thanks all for the contributions for the Durango Derailers and the Courage Classic. You guys donated over $100 is cash alone last night and we hope that many more of you will donate online. As promised, Catacombs is throwing is $250 in matching support for this great cause.
