Spring Nutrition Challenge

As we are about to emerge from the haze of the CrossFit Open and Catacombs Games, it is time to turn our attention to the Spring Nutrition Challenge. I'd like to extend a huge thank you to Dr. Ashley Lucas of PHD Advanced Nutrition for leading the Nutrition Workshop last Saturday. There was much to take away and think about and several of you have reached out to me with follow up questions and thoughts. I left knowing that there is a lot of momentum around reshaping nutrition habits in our community and that the time is right for our next nutrition challenge. I also know that many of these changes sound a lot better on a Saturday morning sitting in the gym as a concept than they do as reality on a Friday night after a long, stressful week of work. That's where the accountability of community comes in.

So, start doing some soul-searching now around if you are where you want to be with your food. If you are, great! If not, continue the soul searching with determining if your desire to change is stronger than your desire to stay the same. No commitment is needed right now; we are just planting the seeds. We will be working out the details over the next couple of weeks, but we have set a tentative start date of April 18th, and are currently on track for a six-week challenge.
