Greetings Catacombs Family–

I have very exciting news for you today that has been in the works for quite some time. Our very own Stacey Cavanaugh is expanding her physical therapy practice and will be offering a PT clinic within Catacombs! Now you can see an excellent and experienced physical therapist who just gets it. Read on for all the details from Stacey.

Meet Stacey

I’ve been a physical therapist for 13 years with 7 years of outpatient orthopedics experience.  I’ve also been a CrossFit athlete for 10 years, a member of Catacombs since 2016 and I frequently attend the 5:30 am class.

I graduated from St. Louis University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During my first few years of practice, I completed an 18 month fellowship program in manual therapy. I’ve also received certifications in Dry Needling, ASTYM and plan to advance my education in myofascial decompression techniques, to include cupping. Throughout my practice, I have developed an interest in longevity and incorporating functional exercises/CrossFit style movements into rehab programs. I’ve completed a medical provider CrossFit Level 1 course and am looking forward to continuing treating active individuals.

Meet CavPT

With the support and encouragement of Tracie, this has led me to open a PT clinic within Catacombs. Cav Physical Therapy, LLC (CavPT) opens April 4th. Clinics will initially be on Tuesdays with increasing availability as needed. The clinic will be open and available to gym members and non-gym members alike. My focus will be on rehabbing acute injuries, treatment of chronic conditions and post operative patients. CavPT will be a cash-based business and will not accept insurance. This allows me to dedicate a full hour of time to each patient with more one-on-one time and a personalized rehab plan. We can utilize the lifting and exercise techniques used right here at Catacombs and we will have the option of discussing the rehab plans with the coaches, who can then help you in class or in personal training sessions.

I am happy to answer any questions so feel free to stop and say hello if you see me at the gym. I’ll try to make some classes that are not at 5:30 AM so that I can meet more of you in person.

CavPT clinic hours will start Tuesday April, 4th. Please email me for scheduling or questions at cavphysicaltherapy@gmail.com

Thanks!

Stacey Cavanaugh, PT, DPT, CMPT
