Getting Started at Catacombs in the New Year

The questions and inquiries are starting to roll in around how to get started at Catacombs in the new year. We are a small gym and we pride ourselves on personal connections with each athlete and the cohesiveness of our community. It is one of the things that makes Catacombs special so we closely manage our growth to preserve this culture. Additionally, it is important for us to be able to serve our existing members and provide the same quality coaching and engagement year round. For these reasons, we limit the available slots for getting started at Catacombs in January. Read on to find out how to join our community or get started with Catacombs.

Private Training: This is the place to start if you need to make a big or immediate change in your health and fitness routine. A personalized plan with one-on-one coaching and accountability is the gold standard. Work with a professional that is committed to your success. Whether that looks like losing a significant amount of weight or lowering your blood pressure; rehabbing from an injury or taking your fitness to the next level—we specialize in coming along side you and working as your partner through this process. Our coaches are the best in the business and they have specialties that range from injury rehab to post partum/women’s health to sports performance and competition.

We have availability for 4 new private training clients beginning in December and 6 new clients beginning in January. We ask that private training clients be committed to making real changes in their health and fitness and willing to commit to two to four sessions per week. Pricing for private training varies based on the number of sessions per week; the twice per week option is $495/month. Foundations: This is a group class option for those new to Catacombs. If you’re new to working out or new to CrossFit, this four week program will help you gain the confidence and skills to move into our group classes. The goal is to establish a solid foundation for growth and reduce the risk of injury through teaching proper technique and scaling. And don’t worry, you will get your fitness moving in the right direction too. No prior experience is necessary; we will meet you where you are. This class is limited to 10 athletes and you can register here.
Schedule: Monday and Wednesday from 6-7 PM, beginning January 6. Cost is $200.
Can’t make that schedule work? Book a slot for private training in January and we can get you to the same place on a schedule that works for you.

Longevity: This is the program for those over 60 who want to stay active and improve functional capacity. No previous exercise history is required and those with current health challenges are welcome. Come try a class on Tuesday or Thursday at 11 or email info@crossfitcatacombs.com to set up a time to come chat with us. The first class is free. After that, 10-punch passes are $125.

Transferring from another gym: Whatever your reason for choosing Catacombs, welcome. We are community first and welcome all on the journey of self improvement. As all gym cultures are different, we ask that those transferring from other gyms commit to at least one private training session with our coaching staff within your first couple of weeks. We want to get to know you, explain our philosophy and methods, and make sure that you start out on the right track. Cost for this session is $50 when you sign up with a membership.
